Out of Production The OPTIMA-EX[GD] Series plug is designed for environments classified under Group II 2GD, suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres. It operates at a rated voltage of over 50V and a current of 63A, with a 3P+E configuration and a 2h hour position. Engineered to function at frequencies above 300-500Hz, it features an IP66 protection degree and an impact resistance of 7J. Equipped with mantle terminals, this plug is ATEX certified and can only be coupled with ADVANCE-GRP[GD] Series switched interlocked socket outlets. In safe zones, it is compatible with any industrial socket outlet compliant with IEC EN 60309-1 and IEC EN 60309-2 standards.

OPTIMA-EX[GD] plugs can be coupled only with the switched interlocked socket outlets of the ADVANCE-GRP[GD] Series. When in "safe zone" they can be connected to any industrial socket outlet compliance with IEC EN 60309-1 and IEC EN 60309-2.
