The ISOLATORS-EX[GD] Series SWITCH DISCONNECTOR is engineered for demanding industrial environments, particularly those with potentially explosive atmospheres, as indicated by its ATEX certification (II 2GD). This emergency switch disconnector is designed for surface mounting and features a robust construction with an IP66 protection degree, ensuring resilience against dust and water ingress. The device is enclosed in high-grade STAINLESS STEEL [AISI316L], offering exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. It is equipped with a 2-pole configuration and supports a rated current of 20A. The switch is designed with a yellow/red color scheme for high visibility and includes an earth-stud for safety. The handle is padlockable in both OFF (accommodating up to three padlocks) and ON (one padlock) positions, enhancing security during maintenance. With an impact resistance of 7J, this switch disconnector is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions.
