The ISOLATORS-EX[GD] Series SWITCH DISCONNECTOR is engineered for robust performance in industrial settings, particularly where safety and reliability are paramount. This emergency switch disconnector is rated for a current of 63A and is available in 3 or 4 poles. It features a high protection degree of IP66, ensuring resilience against dust and water ingress. Designed for surface mounting, the unit is constructed from durable die-cast aluminium and finished in a distinctive yellow/red color for high visibility. It is certified under Group and Categories EX: II 2GD, making it suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, as per ATEX guidelines. The enclosed construction provides an impact resistance of 7J. The handle is padlockable in both OFF (up to 3 padlocks) and ON (1 padlock) positions, enhancing operational safety. An earth-stud is included for secure grounding.
