The ISOLATORS-EX[GD] Series SWITCH DISCONNECTOR is engineered for demanding industrial environments, particularly where safety and reliability are paramount. This EMERGENCY switch disconnector is rated for a current of 40A and features a 2P configuration. It boasts a robust protection degree of IP66, ensuring resilience against dust and water ingress. Designed for surface mounting, the unit is constructed from high-grade STAINLESS STEEL [AISI316L], offering exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. The device is suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, classified under Group and Categories EX: II 2GD, in compliance with ATEX standards. The enclosure is impact-resistant up to 7J, enhancing its suitability for harsh conditions. The handle is padlockable in both OFF (accommodating 3 padlocks) and ON (1 padlock) positions, providing secure operation. The unit is finished in a distinctive YELLOW/RED color for high visibility in emergency situations. An earth-stud is included for added safety.
