The ISOLATORS-EX[GD] Series SWITCH DISCONNECTOR is engineered for demanding industrial environments, particularly those with potentially explosive atmospheres, as indicated by its ATEX certification (II 2GD). This emergency switch disconnector is designed for surface mounting and features a robust construction with a die-cast aluminium enclosure, ensuring durability and reliability. It supports a rated current of 32A and is equipped with 2 poles. The device offers a high protection degree of IP66, safeguarding against dust and water ingress. The impact resistance is rated at 7J, providing additional resilience. The switch disconnector is finished in a distinctive yellow/red color for visibility and includes an earth-stud. The handle is padlockable in both the OFF (up to 3 padlocks) and ON (1 padlock) positions, enhancing safety and security during maintenance or operation.
