The ADVANCE-GRP[GD] Series interlocked socket is designed for surface mounting in ATEX environments, suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, specifically Group II 2GD for gas and dust environments. This socket operates at a rated voltage greater than 50V and a current of 16A, with a 2P+E configuration and a 12h hour position. It supports both 50Hz and 60Hz working frequencies. Constructed from GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester), it ensures high durability with an impact resistance of 7J and a protection degree of IP66, safeguarding against dust and water ingress. The socket is equipped with a mechanical interlock and is capable of operating in low temperatures down to -50°C. All versions include an Ex cable gland and drilled-hole. Note that the maximum current must be downgraded by 25% for frequencies above 100 Hz. Custom cable input configurations are available upon request for the entire ADVANCE-GRP[GD] series.
