The ISOLATORS-EX[GD] Series offers a robust SWITCH DISCONNECTOR designed for emergency use, featuring a rated current of 40A and available in 3/4 poles. Engineered for surface mounting, this device ensures high durability with its die-cast aluminium construction and provides a protection degree of IP66, making it suitable for challenging environments. The unit is compliant with ATEX [ATmosphères EXplosibles] standards, classified under Group and Categories EX: II 2GD, for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The enclosure is impact-resistant up to 7J, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions. The switch disconnector is equipped with a yellow/red handle, which is padlockable in both OFF (accommodating 3 padlocks) and ON (1 padlock) positions, enhancing safety and security. An earth-stud is included for grounding purposes, ensuring comprehensive protection and operational integrity.
