The ISOLATORS-EX Series SWITCH DISCONNECTOR is engineered for demanding industrial environments, offering robust performance with a rated current of 40A and a 3-pole configuration. Designed for emergency use, it features a high protection degree of IP65, ensuring reliable operation in harsh conditions. The device is certified under Group and Category EX: II 2D, with dust protection rated at Ex tb IIIC T90°C Db IP65, making it suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres as per ATEX guidelines. Constructed from durable die-cast aluminium, this surface-mounted switch disconnector is finished in a distinctive yellow/red color for high visibility. It includes a padlockable handle, allowing for secure locking in both OFF and ON positions with up to three padlocks. The enclosure is designed to withstand impacts up to 7J, ensuring durability and safety in industrial applications. Optional cable inlets (1xM20 top) are available upon request.
