COFRAC Comité Français d'Accréditation What is COFRAC? Founded in 1994 , COFRAC is the French Committee for Accreditation , which allows organizations that accredit laboratories and to bring proof of their competence and impartiality . In doing so provides companies , but also consumers and authorities , a security interest in the confidentiality of services provided .

Certifications

Obtaining a certification COFRAC is not simple , but everything is done through a rigorous process outlined several steps , such as:

• Preliminary analysis of the request
• Constitution of the verification team
• Evaluation
• Design of the audit report
• Analysis and validation of the relationship
• Decision and surrender of certificate

International cooperations

COFRAC cooperates with the following organizations :

• AFAQ - Association Française pour l'Assurance de la Qualité
• BNM - Le Bureau National de Métrologie
• EAC - European Accreditation for Certification
