SCAME's range of switchgear includes two series which comply in design and construction with national and international standards that govern:
- Rotary control and disconnecting switches
The range of rotary control and disconnecting switches is available in two-pole, three-pole and four-pole versions. It includes Series 590 with 63 A rated current of 16 A and 32 A, and Series A6300 with 63 A rated current. All switches are designed for a 690V~ rated isolating voltage and comply with IEC947-3.
- Auxiliary control and emergency stop push buttons
SCAME's auxiliary control and emergency switches are available in three versions:
- with status indicator and twist release
- with mushroom head and twist release
- with mushroom head and key release.

SCAME's rotary control and disconnecting switches are highly flexible in use. It is possible to supply the switching units separately from the front operators and the accessories, which means a variety of versions can be made up in order to meet most installation requirement.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION

- All moulded components (switching units and insulated parts) are of hogh quality self-extinguishing materials comply with ul94 (vo degree) standards and have undergone the glow wire test at 960°C in conformity with IEC 60695-2/1 standard. The materials are also highly resistant to tracking.
- Double break contacts with silver alloy contact buttons ensure positive opening.
- Shrouded finger proof terminals (IP20). In compliance with VDE 0106 part 100 - VG84 standard, prevent accidental contact with the live parts. The terminalò arrangement is on a straight line.
- The terminals fitted in the 5901 Series are tunnel type with captive screws (unscrewed ready for wiring).
- Access to the terminals is from the rear on the R type switching units and from the front on the B type switching units.
B type switch units of the 90Series are supplied complete with provision for fitting on EN 50022 rail.
- 90° operation angle.
- The front operators are available in These colours black-grey, red-yellow.

SCAME provide with this ISOLATORS Series a practical solution for switch-disconnctor inside an enclosure with a high degree of protection. The versions 20A, 32A and 40A can be mounted in the same enclosure, which can be integrated into the SCAME ADVANCE System, and also the OMNIA System.

The ISOLATORS are available in two versions, emergency or standard.
Each version is available with normal current ratings of 20A, 32A, 40A, 63A, 80A, 100A, 125A and 160A.

Engineering plastic version

Metal version
- Isolators series, metal version, is well suited to harsh environments due to the nature of the industry-heavy industry installations, machine installations, for industrial automation, for thermal, chemical and petrol chemical plant-even outside. Not suitable for particularly environments. For any inquiries concerning special applications, please contact SCAME technical service.
- Wall mounting die-cast alluminium enclosures.
- Painted with grey epoxy.
- Stainless steel screws for closing cover with flet screwdriver slot.
- Earthing terminal on the base.

CONTROL AND SIGNALLING ACCESSORIES

SCAME Parre S.p.A. propose this Series of auxiliary control and signalling items, the result of monitoring the modern installer's needs and thanks to the wide range able to cover the common applications.
The control and signalling accessories SCAME Series TOP22 offer wide space for rapid cabling and are interchangeable to give also the possibility of different configurations.
The pushbuttons, selectors and pilot lights have a 22 mm diameter and the switching elements have a rated current of 16A.
The emergency pushbuttons (mushrooms head) are new in their design and conform to the European standard EN 60418 which prescribes thet the head must be in blocked position before activating the switching element, such working system is defined as "positive opening".
