GENERAL DESCRIPTION

GOMMA Series distribution assemblies are made of non-deformable and self-extinguishing butyl rubber with higt resistance to weathering and chemicals. They ensure safety even in the most adverse ambient conditions (bad weather, sudden temperature changes, corrosive environment, etc.) and can withstand heavy mechanical stresses, such as impact, vibration, falls, etc.

VERSIONS

There are two versions available (WxHxD):

• portable or for surface mounting:
  260x380x130mm
• two-front units for mounting on a tubular stande:
  196x325x260mm

Portable or surface mounting units can be fitted with:

• 5 IEC309 or EUREKA Series 16A socket outlets, or
• 4 IEC309 EUREKA Series 16A and 1 32A sockets outler, or
• 5 European 10A/16A domestic type socket outlets or
• any combination of yhe above.

Two-front units for mounting on a tubular stand can be fitted with:

• 4+4 IEC309 or EUREKA Series 16A socket outlets
• 3+3 IEC309 or EUREKA Series 16A socket outlets (camping grounds)

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Black butyl rubber enclosure resistant to oils,acids, heat and weathering; flame-retardant in conformity to IEC 92-101
• IEC309 plugs and socket outlets made of impact-resistant, self-extinguishing material, approved by IMQ and other European quality marks.
• Protective gear approved by IMQ and other European quality marks.
• Nylon festening screws for added insulation in case of accidental failure.
• Power supply cable of the portable units made of H07RN-F rubber.
• Two-front units pre-wired eith cable inlet from below through PG21 cable gland.
• IP44 (empty enclosure IP54)
• Conformity to IEC 670 (empty enclosure) and EN 60439-1 (assembly).

APPLICATIONS

These units are particulary suitable for construction sites and in shipyards, quarries, heavy industry, chemical facilities, camping grounds, etc., where heavy duty conditions are expected.

CONSTRUCTION
......................................................................................................................................................

The unit can house protective gear (MCBs and RCDs) or control gear. The portable or surface mounting nersion is fitted with one single window for 12 DIN modules, while the two front units for elevated mounting are fitted with two windows for 8+8 DIN modules.

The windows are provided with clear unbreakable covers fitted with springs.

A tubolar zinc-plated steel stand is provided for units to be elevated.
