The SCAME DATATEL-CAT5 Line has been purposely designed to satisfy the requirements of data transmission systems installation. This Line includes diffrerent components, all of them meeting the general requirements of GRADE 5 data transmission systems cable laying.
Free plugs: also available with special "insert" to allow an easy alignment during cabling.
Wall telephone outlets: provided with terminals identification label, according to EIA TIA 565/A and /B Standards; cabling procedure with no need of tools. Shuttered or unshuttered types are available.
Shielding: metal sheating for cables, plugs or outlets preventing signal interference.

EIA TIA 565/A o /B: Standards (the extensions A or B refer to different cabling): this US Standard first intriduced the term "GRADE 5" to classify the cabling transmission features and application fields. Grade 5 equipments are suitable for 100 Mbs up to 100 Mhz
IEC 11801: International Standard for generic cabling. The transmission features are classified according to different CLASSES.
IEC Class 5 corresponds exactly to GRADE 5.
EN 50173: It is very similar to the above mentioned US and International Standards.
CEI 303-14: Italian Reference Number for the European Standard.
